The highlight event for WA greyhound racing on Saturday night took place at Cannington when the Group 3 Movember Young Stars Classic Final (530m) was conducted, with the $22 500 to-the-winner prize going to How I Roll.
It was a magic night for How I Roll’s trainer, L. Britton, scoring the quinella as their other runner, Tender Moment finished second.
How I Roll ($3.30) had the advantage of the inside run and made the most of jumping from box one, defeating Tender Moment ($7.10) by 2.75 lengths. Fastest qualifier and odds-on favourite at $2.00, Blue Goose, could only manage to finish third a further length away.
It was a sensational come back for How I Roll after being defeated by T. Erenshaw’s Blue Goose in the heats.
